The testimony: there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.

الصلاة: خمس صلوات في اليوم والليلة.
Pronunciation: aṣ-ṣalāh
Prayer: five prayers every day and night.
الزكاة: حق للفقراء في مال الأغنياء.
Pronunciation: az-zakāh
Zakah: a right of the poor in the wealth of the rich.
الصوم: صيام شهر رمضان.
Pronunciation: aṣ-ṣawm
Fasting: fasting the month of Ramadan.
الحج: حج بيت الله الحرام لمن استطاع إليه سبيلاً.
Pronunciation: al-ḥajj
Hajj: pilgrimage to the Sacred House for those who are able.
