عمر بن الخطاب

عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه ثاني الخلفاء الراشدين.

Umar ibn Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, was the second Rightly Guided Caliph.

لُقّب بالفاروق لأنه فرّق بين الحق والباطل.

He was called Al-Faruq because he distinguished truth from falsehood.

في عهده فُتحت بلاد الشام ومصر وفارس.

During his time, the Levant, Egypt and Persia were opened.

أنشأ التقويم الهجري.

He established the Hijri calendar.

اشتهر بالعدل والرحمة بالرعية.

He was famous for justice and mercy towards the people.

قال ﷺ: إن الله جعل الحق على لسان عمر وقلبه.

The Prophet ﷺ said: Allah has placed the truth on the tongue and heart of Umar.
